It wouldn't hurt to see another Predator game that plays similar to Concrete jungle as well.Discover the meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and danger. The music needs to fit every scene well and teamwork with fellow soldiers can play into the audience growing closer to the characters. Character development could go very far here. There can even be decision-making that impacts the story and various deaths of the soldiers to generate tension. I hope what was done for Alien with Isolation can also be done for Predator with multiple predators killing most of 3 military squads stranded throughout different environments during the day and night. Oh, and check out the Alien Digital Series if you missed it.Īs for a sequel, seeing as Isolation takes place years before Aliens, maybe the next story can happen on Hadley's Hope (LV-426/Acheron) before Ripley and the colonial marines show up.Īside from that, I have been an Alien and Predator fan since I was a kid and have been collecting items while playing much of the games next to the films. There is a time where I do get tired of playing certain games through mobile phones and tablets. It would be nice if Blackout was officially on PC, so I didn't have to use BS. I think I might run Isolation on the Steam Deck. Yeah, I knew about Blackout (previously made free from Google Play) and the Nintendo Switch release of Isolation, but I actually forgot about the mobile versions of Isolation. Below are the links where you can buy the game for iOS and Android devices, as well as find more information like whether your device can run the game. Originally posted by unturorum:Old news (5 months to be specific), but I didn't know until now despite constantly following all the gaming news. I already bought DOOM and DOOM II, those use as much battery as the Calculator app and they're lots of fun, zero loading times and nice controls. Yesterday I was questioning if I even needed a smartphone, now my question is answered in the best possible way and I'll even upgrade if more games like this come. When you put it like "tiny screen and touch controls", it sounds like an absolute disgrace, but I prefer putting it how I did above, then it's like a dream come true. To me, this is priceless, especially considering that I actually own the game on my phone and don't depend on another device and an Internet connection for streaming, plus the game is in my holy trinity of games along with System Shock 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 (and I dare to say I've played everything worth mentioning), not just some alright game that does the job for killing time. I can totally see myself going to bed early, covering myself with a blanket (including my head) then playing for hours. I played Crysis back in 2007 on a new PC which could run it maxed out in 900p, but it couldn't even start up Alien: Isolation, and then there's this phone looking just as good as it does maxed out on my current PC, about the same resolution, 60 FPS and a high FOV: I'm aware of how far phones got, but this still really shocked me. I know right, it's really mind-blowing to have PC graphics and 60 fps on such a game. and they could charge a heck more than $14.99 for it too.Įven if one doesn't care about VR it would be great exposure for the game and could definitely help increase demand for a sequel. Done right it could easily be a premium VR experience on a platform that is begging for good games that go beyond novelty. If Feral can do this then they could make a VR version for the Oculus Quest 2. Originally posted by redfblack:Holy crap, that's very impressive indeed! All original content and DLC are included for just $14.99 in total. You can choose to favor graphics, performance or battery and you can use a mouse and keyboard or a controller over touch controls which are still available though. This is a full 2014 AAA game (and one of the best games ever made) with amazing graphics which can now run on phones as old as the iPhone 7 Plus from 2016, visually it's just as good as on PC and unlike the PS4 which is locked at 30 fps, it can even run at 60 fps. Please, if you love amazing games like this one, amazing ports to phones and tablets and of course, an Alien: Isolation 2, please support this, even if you don't feel like playing with touch controls on a tiny screen right now, it's simply a must have for fans and this truly deserves support, here's why: Old news (5 months to be specific), but I didn't know until now despite constantly following all the gaming news.
