So, if you get lucky enough, you can rely on items to brute force your way forwards, but I like to rely on luck as little as possible. Yes, triple shops exist and allow you some choice in your items, but whether or not a shop even spawns is random. However, items are entirely reliant on RNG. Because if we get enough good items early, it makes the rest of the run way easier, right?! Yes, that's exactly correct. Next is items, which is where everyone tunnel-visions. I don't really have to think about leveling though, outside of preferring to hit level 2 before popping the teleporter on Swarms/Sacrifice runs. Levels only really matter super early, but they make a surprising difference. The reason is, there are three ways to scale your survivor in the early game: levels, items, and management of the scaling slider. I take 3.5-5.5 minutes on stages 1-3 depending on how numerous and/or dense my chest and shop spawns are. If you're unlucky, you can at least generally struggle through until stage 8 for the green portal. If you keep up on time and good items, you'll spiral out of control and become a God. Mid-game is where your run is really made or broken. Once you get passed the first loop, you should easily be able to fully loot basically every stage pretty quickly. I prefer to loop and obliterate instead of fighting Mithrix, not a fan of the whole commencement thing. You have another decision to make on these stages in regards to how long/much you want to farm them out. Stage 4+5 offer exclusively green shops and a guarenteed red item. Once you get to stage 4 (hopefully before, or around 15 min) you can start slowing down a little and looking for better items to round out your weaknesses. Monsoon scales ridiculously fast and the early game is spent simply trying to keep up with the scaling for stages 1-3. You gotta know where the TP/player spawns are, and how to navigate maps effectively.

If you're not familiar with G-Shocks, the advanced features of these watches can be overwhelming at first.
For dagger (duh) and great sword, also start from the right. It's quicker to hold right till you are at the waist item, and then tap left once for the cops, and left twice more for the helm. If you have to make medium or heavy cops, start from the right. Any tips on even better cities would be greatly appreciated. I use Deshaan, as the horse trainer, guild traders, craft stations and write turn in are all pretty close (horse trainer being the furthest away). Do it in a city where everything is close together. Now you can start at black smithing, tap plus pad right, do tailoring, and then tap a few times for woodworking. If you are skipping alchemy, then Pick up the alchemy board writs first, and blacksmith board last, with blacksmithing being the last writ you pick up. That way you start with alchemy as it's the last writ you picked up, and plus pad right selects all writs one by one. Pick up blacksmith board writs first, alchemy board last. So consider if the inventory space this takes up is worth the little time you gain. Just make 3 of each writ, meaning 12 rings, 9 amulets, and 3 of each glyph. This will shave of a little bit of time. Optional: Pre-make jewelry and enchanting. You might want to skip the 3 corn flower writ, as it's imo to expensive to do (at least on PS4).Create the potions/poisons on a maxed out alchemist to make multiples at once, and then distribute them to you other characters. Pre-make alchemy on a maxed out alchemist. This will consume way less ingredients, and only takes 6 inventory slots on each character. Just create a stack of each food in the cooking writs (be mindful of the faction, as it impacts tier 1 writs) and then distribute them to your other tier 1 crafters. Pre-cook all cooking on a maxed out cook. I've been doing this on PS4 (so no add-ons) for a few weeks now, and here are some tips to speed things up, hopefully others have tips as well. Lobster ravioli, paired with what seemed to be the decadent and signature seafood bisque of The Fish Store, this appetizer was enough to fill the belly of the hungriest diner, but so lightly fried that it was a pleasant beginning. Here’s a breakdown of what my dining companion, the foreman of the ceiling crew at Moynihan Train Hall (aka the new Penn Station), and I had for a lovely, aptly but ironically celebratory NYE dinner: The NYE prix-fixe menu included a starter, soup/salad, entrée, and dessert, generously priced for $54.99 per person. This summer, The Fish Store had introduced an updated menu that followed in a similar fashion, keeping mainstays like crab cakes and stuffed salmon on while introducing new crowd pleasers like lobster mac-and-cheese and shrimp quesadilla. Offering their full regular menu alongside a new prix-fixe was a good choice in allowing patrons to choose from verified favorites or daring new concoctions. “My vision was about making a special NYE menu that would spark the general public to come dine out in a safe and comfortable environment, while enjoying a really special menu at an extremely affordable price during these trying times in the restaurant business,” owner Seth Needelman said. In a fitting end to the year, ushering a new approach filled with lightness and inventiveness, The Fish Store’s New Year’s Eve prix-fixe dinner was the dignified meal to end 2020 a year wrought with unwelcome developments. |
